Light Nights “Magic Forest” // Ouwehands Dierenpark

About the event

Event name: Light Nights “Magic Forest”
Location: Ouwehands Dierenpark
Website: https://www.ouwehand.nl/nl/lightnights (Only available in Dutch.)

Information: “Light Nights” is inspired by the “China Light” event held at Ouwehands Dierenpark (and other locations) in previous years, created to celebrate the Chinese New Year. All lanterns are handmade from rice paper and placed throughout the zoo to create a unique scenario with every set you pass by during the route.
This time the theme was “Magic Forest”, meaning there are both very familiar animals as well as a few magical ones to be found throughout the park, and a whimsical one here and there too!

About the photos

Country: The Netherlands
City: Rhenen
Location: Ouwehands Dierenpark
Date: February 25, 2022
Title: Light Nights “Magic Forest” // Ouwehands Dierenpark
Camera model: Sony Alpha A67

Additional notes: Since Ouwehands Dierenpark is quite famous for it’s unique panda enclosure we couldn’t skip a visit to Pandasia while we were there.
As some bonus content there are some photos from the temple at the end, as well as the pandas Wu Wen (mother) and Fan Xing (baby). Xing Ya (father) unfortunately decided that he didn’t want to appear for our camera tonight. But we did see some flamingos instead!
